Hi, Mary~ Your pictures are beautiful!! I especially like the Texas mountain laurel. It's different from ours here in Virginia, but so pretty. It sort of reminds me of the wisteria we have around here. Hope you're having a good week! :-)
Thank you. I took all but the last one on or near our property. :-) But, not all in the same year! The wildflowers here bloom differently each year depending on the rains. I agree that the Texas mountain laurel looks like wisteria. It is very drought tolerant, though. Amazingly so, in fact.
I love the fact that we have wildflowers from before the last frost in the spring till killing frost in the autumn. It might not be much, but it seems like there's always *something* blooming. :-)
