Here is a new poem I posted at the Home Maker’s Corner this week.  This poem sort of continues the theme of the Sunday post two weeks ago – The Missionary No One Remembers.  It is a good reminder for those feel like they are too weak or insignificant to do anything that “really counts” for the Lord.  No matter how bound you may feel by limitations, illness, responsibilities of life or whatever the challenge is, there is something you can do for the Lord.  And, it’s important to remember that God doesn’t expect us all to do the same work for Him.  He made us different for different works On Purpose for His glory.

Romans 12:4 For as we have many members in one body,
and all members have not the same office:


I could not do the work the reapers did,
Or bind the golden sheaves that thickly fell;
But I could follow by the Master's side,
And watch the marred Face I loved so well…
