Texas Wildflowers – Standing Cyprus

  1. Another very different flower! I imagine if there was a lot of these, the field would look very fiery! What is the yellow flower in the background of the second picture??

    1. I've actually never seen this is large groups, but I suppose they might grow that way somewhere. It would make a stunning view, that's for sure!
      The yellow flowers are Thelesperma and will have their own feature next Thursday. You can also see them in the "Wildscape" post from a couple weeks back. :-)

    1. Thanks. I'm glad you like them. I don't see them around here all that much, so it's a real blessing from the Lord to have this nice clump in my parent's yard. :-) I believe they are perennials.
