Evening Song - Sweet Beulah Land
Isaiah 62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
Revelation 22:3-5 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
I love that song, Mary. Thank you for posting it. Listening to it tonight brought tears to my eyes. This world is getting more wicked by the day, and I find myself longing more and more for Heaven.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a good weekend. Take care.♥
I'm so glad that blessed you, Melanie! I scheduled it for the 4th on purpose because I'm longing for that better country too, but didn't realize how very appropriate it would be this year.
DeleteWe did have a blessed weekend. God did a special thing for me on Saturday and we had good fellowship with our church family on the Lord's day.
Keep looking unto Jesus. Heb. 12
Hi Loved the story about the boys cutting the lawn there. I did not get to comment so had to tell you. LOVELY...God blesses us. Also enjoyed your song here. Thanks, and blessed July to you all there...merri
ReplyDeleteGreat! I'm glad you were blessed by both of the posts! :-) The Lord is good.
DeleteI am sorry that I did not get permission before adding your song Sweet Beulah Land to my blog without your permission but when I first came here, I could not find a place to ask. If you would like, I will delete it. I joined your site so I can be blessed over and over with all the things you write and I thank you for taking the time to share. If you would like to check where I put it, my blog is found at.....http://thereiscomingaday.blogspot.com/ I have only recently started this blog. Thank you again. Connie
ReplyDeleteHi, Connie. Welcome to The Cotton Apron! :-)
DeleteThis is a link that I embedded from YouTube and not something that I own. You are free to use it! :-) People who post things on YouTube want them to be seen and by embedding them they will get more viability, so I'm sure the original poster would be glad for us to use it. I'm happy you were blessed by it and and wanted to pass it on.
Any original content of mine I do like to be asked about before it is copied to another place, but you can link to it without asking. (This mostly applies to articles and devotional items and a few poems that I actually wrote myself.) I visited your blog. Thank you for the link. :-)
If you're interested, I wrote a post awhile back on blogging. Maybe it would be helpful to you. http://thecottonapron.blogspot.com/2014/06/so-you-want-to-start-blog.html
