    1. Thanks, Jo. I was disappointed that this large patch on my brother's property didn't bloom this year. It has for quite a few years in a row, but something about our wetter spring and early summer apparently changed the pattern. There are some around, but not the abundance of other years. Odd, isn't it?

    1. They really are. I missed the big patch on Mike and Sarah's property this year. They apparently didn't like our weather this summer or something. But, one little vine grew by our walk (where they had never grown before) and I got to see a few flowers before it got too dry and hot for them to bloom. :-) Maybe if we get some rain we'll see more. I have seen a few vines on fences and such that were blooming earlier this summer.
