We had several barns in our old neighborhood there. I really liked that. Having lived quite a few years in farm country I have a soft spot for barns. :-) We were in East Tennessee outside of Knoxville.
Autumn in Tenn. wasn't always so beautiful, but that year was. Some years were definitely better than others. Having lived for quite a few years in Michigan, though, I tend to compare to that and Mich. was spectacular most years, though not as great as New England from what I can tell. :-) Arizona had the least fall color of all the places I've lived that actually had seasons. Texas has a bit more color than southern AZ, for which I'm thankful. :-)
