Three Things Quilters and Sewists Need to Stop Doing

This is a really great mini-lecture on some things that quilters do that we should stop doing.  It isn't about technique, it's about how we view our quilting and think about it.  But this also applies to general sewing.  I know from experience that it's easy to think poorly of our own sewing skills.  Most of the time very few people will notice when we didn't get something just right - both in quilting and in sewing.  I really recommend taking the time to watch this.  If you follow her advice, I can guarantee you will enjoy your quilting and sewing more. :-)

  1. Hi, Mary,
That was a great video....the first two things are good to remember in general life! I love that quote, Comparison is the Thief of Joy. I've never heard that before, but it is SO true! I hope you and your family are all doing well! :-)

    1. I'm glad you found it helpful too. I really liked it. Comparison sure is a joy-robber. Reminds me of the verse - 2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

We are doing well, thanks! We've had a very relaxing December as my husband has over 2 weeks off work. It has been really refreshing. :-) Hope you folks are doing well too! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
