The Thousand Word Project– Let Us Eat Lettuce


This is some of the beautiful lettuce my dad grew here last winter.  There are some foods I like just because they are beautiful!

    I have never eaten lettuce like this. It most definitely is gorgeous!

      It was a little bitter when it got more mature, but it I liked it mixed with other lettuce when it was more tender. It added such a lovely color to a salad!
