The Thousand Word Project - In the Pink of Summer

Song of Solomon 2:1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.

Tennessee Memories - Bright Clouds

Zechariah 10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

The Thousand Word Project - What the Plants Were Dewing

Psalm 110:1-3 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The Thousand Word Project - Pretty Pansies

By cooling streams, and softening showers,

The vegetable race are fed,

And trees, and plants, and herbs, and flowers,

Their Maker’s bounty smiling spread.

The flowery tribes, all blooming, rise,

Above the faint attempts of art,

Their bright, inimitable dyes,

Speak sweet conviction to the heart.

Ye curious minds who roam abroad,

And trace creation’s wonders o’er,

Confess the footsteps of the God,

And bow before Him, and adore.
