The Thousand Word Project - Robin's Egg Blue
[God] maketh the lilies to bloom in the field,
And shelters the bird in its nest;
He calleth the weary to come unto Him,
And find the sweet blessing of rest.

Summertime Memories
Summertime
Strawberries and lemonade,
Naps on hammocks in the shade;
Jumping in the swimming hole,
Sleeping with a fishing pole;
Lightning bugs and thunder storms,
Starry nights and muggy morns;
Crickets, ants, and garden rows,
The fragrance of a golden rose;
Parking lots to burn your feet,
Baking cars that burn your seat;
Watermelons, burgers too,
Sweaty clothes - PeeeeUuu!

Tennessee Memories - Birds by the Woodpile
I think I took all of these photos from my bedroom window when my family lived in East Tennessee. :-) We had a bird feeder back there to encourage them to come.

Creatures Great and Small - The Little Red Hen
Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

The Thousand Word Project - Tiny Feet
Luke 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Creatures Great and Small - Blue Birds
One winter when we lived in Tennessee we were having some difficulties and access to part of the septic system had to be dug up to check if some kind of work was needed. Apparently the fresh expose dirt attracted these blue birds and then they decided to eat some of our bird seed. They didn't usually come to our feeder there. The feeder was right outside the dining room window (this was before I was married and is my parents' old house), so I was able to get some very good shots of them from fairly close up. These have been cropped down to make them appear closer than they were. It was thrilling to be able to take these photos.

FREE Vintage Scripture Graphic - More Value than Sparrows
Here is another remake of a vintage graphic that I did. I'm not sure where I got the original, but I did some work on it before I added the verse, and I'm including both versions for you. You can save the images from here, or you can go over and download the one with the verse or the one without. (Use the download button in the lower right corner.) Note: The one with the verse may not be as high quality as the other, so it may be necessary to print it out at a smaller size for quality. Also, I am not sure if they will be a good size for printing if you save them from here since these are of a restricted size, from what I can tell.
Please do not link to these graphics from here if you are using them online, but save them to your own computer and then upload them to the place where you store graphics online for you own use. Thank you. [Note: It's ok to link from here only if you are sharing the link to this specific post on my blog on your blog or in social media. :-) ]
Enjoy!
