Just for Fun – Time for Thought

When told the reason for Daylight Saving time the old Indian said, "Only a white man would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it to the bottom of a blanket and have a longer blanket."

How did it get so late so soon?
It’s night before it’s afternoon.
December is here before it’s June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.

  1. Thanks for posting these. They really made me smile. I personally dislike Daylight Savings Time and never could understand the logic behind it. The quote from the Indian is really on point--you don't really have a longer day. Maybe I should move to Hawaii where they do not have DST! :)

    1. I'm glad you liked it! :-)
Actually, you don't have to move as far as that. Most of Arizona does not follow DST. My family lived there for 8 years and we never missed it!
