Australian Memories – Pink Prettiness

 

These little beauties remind me of both sweet peas and or orchids.  I don’t know what they are.  We saw them at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mt. Coot-tha.

  1. I think this is the Milkwort Polygala x dalmaisiana, but I don't think it's native to Australia. Have a look over here under the title "Sweet Pea Shrub" down the bottom of the page: http://www.pittwateronlinenews.com/october-2012-issues-environment-snippets.php

    1. Yes, that does look like it. I'm pretty sure you're right. I've always loved sweet peas, and I like flowers along that line. :-)
