Day lilies, Tennessee.
Hello, we had some lilies that looked like that in our garden this year. You know we moved to a new house. We have several different kinds of lilies in the yard. It's been fun seeing what blooms. We probably won't change much with the flower beds until next year.

These wild day lilies were on our neighbor's property in Tennessee. We had the same kind in Michigan years ago when my family lived there. You can eat the flowers as long as you haven't used any fertilizers or anything that could make them unsafe in recent months. My dad liked putting them in salads, and at least once added some to soup. The flowers themselves were a little odd to eat, but it was the ants in my soup I objected to the most. hehe
