    1. These photos came from my grandparents. :-) They lived for many years in an old fashioned little cottage on Gull Lake. They were some of the few "year round" residence in their specific area as they were not of the wealthier class who had summer cottages there. That house was cold in the winter, though! Not much insulation when it was built!

  2. Great historical photos.I wonder if your grand parents felt the cold after living in a cold house - or are we now very soft and reach for heating and the first sign of coldness.
