Australian Memories – Nap Time with the Koalas
Koalas really know how to sleep! These photos were taken at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane. We were told that they are so lethargic because the eucalyptus leaves they eat actually have a drug effect on them.
Well....after Peter and I saw one roaring and charging at another one we lost any interest we might have had in hugging one. :-) It was quite impressive! But, they are interesting. We quite enjoyed that trip!
They are amazing creatures:)). You just want to hug them!!
