Another very different flower! I imagine if there was a lot of these, the field would look very fiery! What is the yellow flower in the background of the second picture??
I've actually never seen this is large groups, but I suppose they might grow that way somewhere. It would make a stunning view, that's for sure! The yellow flowers are Thelesperma and will have their own feature next Thursday. You can also see them in the "Wildscape" post from a couple weeks back. :-)

Thanks. I'm glad you like them. I don't see them around here all that much, so it's a real blessing from the Lord to have this nice clump in my parent's yard. :-) I believe they are perennials. No worries about taking your time to visit here. :-)
