The Thousand Word Project - Spring Is Near or Here

Violets are one of my favorite flowers. They make me think of my Gramma and my mother. In Tennessee we had little white violets with purple stripes that bloomed all over our yard. :-) I encouraged them in one of my perennial borders.
That is a sweet little poem. I like how violets grow all over the yard and give a nice smattering of purple in the green. :)
