Sew Happy Saturday – Free Quilt Patterns

I’ve been sick all week, so I’m allowing myself the luxury of a really easy post today. :-)

Here are three free quilt patterns that you can download from McCall’s:

Modern Quilt Patterns

Yes, you do have to sign up for the newsletter, which was not a problem to me; and I assume you can unsubscribe easily enough later anyway.

I like the “Baubles and Beads” quilt, but especially “Lemon Squeezy”.  I don’t like the “Lemon Squeezy” in the fabrics McCall’s made it in, however.  I actually got this link from Linda at “Buzzing and Bumbling” and I liked her version of LS much better!  You can see her version here, and she got it done in 3 hours!  How great is that?!  I am sure it would take me a lot longer.  The instructions for it are quite interesting and are just the type of quilt I’d like to make. :-)  It’s a great way to use up those long, narrow scraps too.

Enjoy!

  1. Thank you so much for your kind words! Aren't we fortunate to live in an age where we can get free patterns off the internet?

    1. You're welcome. And, I agree about the patterns! I always hesitate over buying any when I know there are so many free ones online. :-)
