Texas Memories - Red Ruffles

    1. Thank you, Elizabeth. These photos were taken last year, but the poppies are just finishing up here now. :-) I always enjoy them. My dad preserves them in his garden and works around them, and he has spread the seeds some. Mostly they seem to prefer the cultivated area of the vegetable garden for some reason. I have read they are actually wildflowers from Europe that were introduced to Texas by immigrants.
